Las hermanas coloradas

Two nice women have disappeared from their home in Madrid. The women lived simple and peaceful lives. The circumstances are very odd and mysterious. Once again, Plinio, the famous policeman from Tomelloso has to work on the difficult case. He leaves for Madrid, to see if he can figure out the mystery. No one can explain their disappearance and Plinio has to visit all the people who have been in contact with them. This allows the reader to get a look at a varied gallery of humans. The strangest thing is an anonymous letter: "I have stolen the Peláez sisters. Revenge! You will never find them, idiots. The Wildcat"
Who is this "Wildcat"? Why has he abducted the sisters? Have they been kidnapped? Plinio will discover the secret behind it all. On top of the mysterious case the novel offers us a beautiful love story and a look at the Spanish civil war.
